Hi,
Medical Diagnosis, that is if you are refering to the TV series.
Regards.

Hi
It refers to the TV series Dr House, M.D. The French translation is: Dr House, Docteur en Médecine.

Regards

Oui, c'est cela. MD veut dire "doctor of medicine" ou bien "medical doctor", qui est plus désinvolte.

Hi again,
Ive got a google hit for "MD" which stands for " Medicinæ Doctor" and though I don't know the series well, I would opt for "medical diagnosis" for not only is House a Doctor of Medicine but he is a brilliant diagnostician trying to diagnose the undiagnosable.
Regards.
Headway.

Non, désolé, mais ce n'est pas "medical diagnosis". Ma définition reste; elle est correcte.

However, there's nothing to prevent you from making up all sorts of definitions of your own, such as "malodorous diatribe", "misanthropic denigrator", or (if you're really into slang) "maximum dump".

Hi Benboom,
I am not in anyway trying to contradict you; I'm just trying to help.

Hello,

Yes, it's true. I agreed with headway! House is a brilliant Diagnostician who solved many of undiagnosed diseases ( I don't try to go out of the subject, just want to prove the point). I followed up the series, and I am pretty sure, specifically in this case, House, M.D. stands for Medical Diagnostician. Whatever else, M.D. generally stands for Medical Doctor.

For question of sa id what does "M.D" means in French? For example : House M.D, it means médecin spécialiste des diagnostics ( Diagnosticien ).

Cordially,

Hi,
M.D. stands for 'doctor of medicine'. We use the same term in Britain.
Best Wishes

Hello,
Here we are supposed to distinguish between what does "M.D" mean? and What does "M.D" stand for?
Cordially,

Hello! To any anglophone in North America or Britain, the abbreviation M.D. in reference to the medical profession instantly means and stands for "Doctor of Medicine" (or more commonly Medical Doctor) from the Latin "Medicinae Doctor". Whether Dr. House is a terrific medical diagnostician is beside the point. Without any evidence to the contrary, speculation and conjecture only serve to confuse the original poster.

Hello,

In the context about the series House, the question was:
"what does "M.D" mean in French"?
The answer is:
Docteur en médecine.

Regards.
