Is the following sentence correct?
The bigger the number of cars is, the more danger drivers and pedestrians might face, and the more serious air pollution will become.

Hello,
Just a couple of things really:
The first part of your sentence sounds a bit clumsy. I would write "The more cars there are" or "The greater the number of cars there are".
Instead of 'might' I would write 'may'.
